Hello beautiful soul! My name is Taurie and I am the woman behind Alchemy With Soul.
Each piece is hand crafted by my hands at my makeshift home studio. Located in the Adelaide Hills, Australia.
I have a long history of chronic pain and mental health issues and the start of my jewellery journey ignited a glimmer of hope within me. Crafting something beautiful became a source of empowerment, a tangible reminder that I can achieve despite the odds.
I started off with macramé in 2017, and connected with so many beautiful people along the way. Though I longed to work with metals and create my own pendants, the physical toll of silversmithing seemed unobtainable.
I then discovered Electroforming in 2021 which is what I offer today, an art form that is a little easier on the body than silversmithing. This process opened up my creativity to a space I never thought I'd be able to access.
In January 2024, I embarked on learning Tiffany Technique & lost wax jewellery which enabled me to be able to finally work in silver!
Through these years of learning and growing in more ways than just jewellery making, there have been many ups & downs. Many tears and frustrations. Yet, there's a flicker of resilience within me that refuses to dim. I'm fueled by my love for creation and a steadfast determination to forge ahead, overcoming each hurdle that comes my way, even if it takes some time.
